Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process from admission through discharge \n
- Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely in accordance with established policies and procedures \n
- Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum \n
- Document the nursing process thoroughly, concisely, and accurately \n
- Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status and implement physician orders as written \n
- Direct co-workers and delegate role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of patient care \n
- \n
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required \n
- Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Ohio \n
- Current CPR certification required \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities \n
- Demonstrated critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities \n
- \n
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred \n
- Previous nursing experience, particularly in an Emergency Department setting, preferred \n
- \n
