American Traveler is seeking an ICU RN with a minimum of 2 years ICU/Stepdown experience for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a SC or compact RN license.

- ICU setting within a hospital environment \n
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM \n
- Patient ratio of 1:4 \n
- Every other weekend required \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- Floating required within scope to sister units/facilities as needed, with agency staff floated first \n
- Holiday rotation required \n
- Uses Epic EMR \n
- \n
- Active SC RN license or compact license required in hand prior to start \n
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only) \n
- NIHSS certification preferred \n
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required \n
- Prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience required \n
- Epic EMR experience preferred \n
- First-time travelers accepted if they have prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience \n
- \n
- Royal blue scrub color required \n
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted \n
- Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler \n
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration, as approval is based on facility needs \n
- Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 week period \n
- Block scheduling accommodation may be requested but is not guaranteed \n
- During hurricane season (June through November, peak activity in August and September), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams \n
