Respiratory Therapist - Day Shift
Location\nPennsylvania
Assignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule\nDay shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, totaling 36 hours per week. Candidates will be required to work every other weekend.
Job Description\nThe Respiratory Therapist will primarily work independently in a setting where they are responsible for patient respiratory care. This role involves utilizing advanced equipment and technologies to provide critical care for patients across various age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide respiratory care including intubation assistance, extubation, and airway management. \n
- Utilize Bellavista and Avea ventilators as well as Siemens RapidPoint 500e ABG analyzers. \n
- Monitor patient respiratory status and respond to high pressure alarms. \n
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. \n
- \n
- Current PA RRT license in hand. \n
- BLS certification. \n
- 1 year of relevant experience; first-time travelers are welcome. \n
- 5+ years of experience accepted for CRT candidates. \n
