• Full-time and permanent CRNA position

\n

• Monday-Friday schedule with no call requirements

\n

• Work independently with the support of an on-site anesthesiologist if needed
\n • Administer and manage anesthesia for various types of surgeries and medical procedures
\n • Conduct pre-operative assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories and determining appropriate anesthesia plans
\n • Monitor patient vital signs, anesthesia levels, and overall well-being during surgery
\n • Respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies related to anesthesia
\n • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients
\n • Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
\n • Meditech EMR 
\n • 3 OR suites, endoscopy suite and OB unit, surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, OB/GYN and children over 2 years of age
\n • Must be proficient in endoscopies and labor epidurals

\n

• Requires a minimum of two years of practice experience
\n • Requires current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
\n • Licensed to practice as a CRNA in the state of Maine
\n • Ability to handle stressful and emergency situations calmly and efficiently
