American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB position requiring at least 2 years of OB experience and prior travel assignment history.

- Work in the OB/GYN unit of a hospital setting \n
- Varied 12-hour shifts (3P-3A and 3A-3P), with negotiability upon prior discussion \n
- Schedule requests must be discussed and agreed upon prior to acceptance \n
- DAYS or NIGHTS only schedules will also be reviewed \n
- Required to work every 3rd weekend \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- \n
- Active Ohio (OH) or Compact RN license required \n
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), all through AHA where applicable \n
- Minimum 2 years of OB experience required \n
- Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment \n
- Ability to function as a 1st assist and scrub for OB procedures is highly preferred \n
- Skills checklist pertinent to OB/GYN specialty, current within 1 year, required for consideration \n
- \n
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria \n
- Assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries \n
- Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes \n
- Candidates residing within a 45-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced travel rate \n
- No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment \n
