As a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of our youngest patients while enjoying the charm and convenience of this bustling location.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in critical care settings. \n
- Perform procedures such as blood gas analysis, vent/BiPAP/high flow initiation and management, and code response. \n
- Manage in-house transport and medication administration. \n
- Conduct chest physiotherapy and manage tracheostomy care. \n
- Float between pediatric units and NICU, and occasionally to adult units. \n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory care, with at least 1.5 years in PICU/NICU. \n
- Active NJ License or Compact License. \n
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required. \n
- Experience with equipment such as Servo I & U and V60 BiPAP. \n
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system. \n
- Willingness to work 3x12 shifts, with every other weekend required. \n
- Flexibility to float within skillset and adapt to varying patient ratios. \n
