American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring 1+ years of experience and current CA state license.
Details\n- \n
- Outpatient mammography setting with 2 rooms/beds \n
- Approximately 20 visits per day \n
- 1:1 patient ratio \n
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM \n
- 4x10 block scheduling available for the right candidate, but Saturday work is required \n
- No weekend requirement outside of Saturday coverage under block scheduling \n
- Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment (Affirm BX preferred) \n
- Performs 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy \n

- Minimum 1 year of experience required \n
- ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (M) preferred \n
- BLS certification required \n
- Current CA state license required; license must be in hand at time of submission (pending license not accepted) \n
- License required if applicable \n
- Epic experience preferred \n
- First-time travelers considered with relevant experience \n
- 2 references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years \n

- Responsible for performing diagnostic and screening mammography procedures, including biopsies and needle localizations, following radiation safety and universal precautions protocols \n
- Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location \n
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) \n
- RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront during the application process \n
- Former employees at this health system may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility \n
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a lower bill rate \n
