Wayne Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with Mother Baby experience for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable caring for patients throughout labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care while delivering compassionate, family-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and Mother Baby patients.

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
\n - \n
Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and obstetric procedures.
\n - \n
Provide postpartum assessments and newborn care.
\n - \n
Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
\n - \n
Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies while maintaining patient safety.
\n - \n
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR.
\n - \n
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
\n - \n
Recent Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby experience (Required)
\n - \n
BLS Certification
\n - \n
NRP Certification
\n - \n
AWHONN Certification
\n - \n
STABLE Certification (Strongly Recommended)
\n - \n
Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
\n - \n
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills.
