Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for a night shift travel position requiring 1+ years of recent experience and a New Mexico or compact RN license.

Details\n

• Work in the Med/Surg and Rehab units of a hospital setting
\n
• Care for a rehab patient population with a 1:5 patient ratio
\n
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n
• Floating required
\n
• 13-week assignment length
\n
• Uses MedHost EMR
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required
\n
• Current BLS certification required
\n
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
\n
• 1+ years of recent Rehab RN experience required
\n
• Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers
\n
• Active driver's license required for consideration
\n
• US Social Security Number required for consideration (Canadian SIN not accepted)
\n
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
\n
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care for assigned rehab patients
\n
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
\n
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within RN scope of practice
\n
• Promote patient independence through care goal setting and patient/family education
\n
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
\n
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered (no local travelers)
\n
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
\n
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
\n
