Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform assigned duties accurately and efficiently according to established procedures. \n
- Use proper techniques and equipment in the performance of duties. \n
- Prepare specimens for processing, ensuring accurate identification and logging of specimens. \n
- Process and analyze specimens using manual or automated methods for qualitative or quantitative results. \n
- Review results for accuracy and completeness before releasing them. \n
- Participate in quality control and assurance activities. \n
- Maintain current knowledge of laboratory and hospital policies and procedures. \n
- Maintain departmental equipment and supplies, and troubleshoot issues as needed. \n
- Assist with training and improvement initiatives in the laboratory. \n
- Perform specimen collection duties, ensuring accurate patient identification. \n

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. \n
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. \n
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) with ASCP, AMT, NCCLS, or equivalent. \n
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required. \n
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain good rapport with hospital staff and patients. \n
