Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform all aspects of MRI patient exam activities at a technical level that produces high-quality diagnostic images consistent with established policies and procedures.
\n
• Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure comfort and confidence throughout the imaging process.
\n
• Operate and maintain all assigned MRI scanning equipment, including performing routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks.
\n
• Position patients, select appropriate settings, and conduct scanning procedures to accurately capture images as requested by a physician.
\n
• Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self; comply with all Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
\n
• Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in both paper and electronic formats.
\n

Required Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
\n
• Experience working with pediatric through geriatric patient populations required.
\n
• Active ARRT certification required.
\n
• Current BLS certification required.
\n

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

\n
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with Siemens or Philips MRI equipment a plus.
\n
• Experience with Cerner RIS and GE PACS systems preferred.
\n
