Job Description
GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Educator for a travel nursing job in Hermiston, Oregon.

Licenses/ certifications/ registrations
\nRequired: Current Oregon RN license. Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR, CNOR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified.
\nPreferred: NA
\nExperience
\nRequired: Minimum of 5 years hospital Nursing experience. 3 years of OR Experience required. Requires computer skills, proficiency in word processing, and internet use.
\nPreferred: Experience teaching others and developing courses, including direct teaching and evaluating the learning process. Experience with teaching theories and learning models. Experience working with/teaching utilizing simulation manikins and software. Experience as a clinical staff educator.
\nOther:

- Understanding of basic functions of a computer network. Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel). \n
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills, communication skills, and customer service skills. \n
- Fax machine and copier experience. \n
- Type a minimum speed of 45 WPM accurately. \n
- Excellent skills in English, punctuation, spelling, grammar, and proofreading. \n
- Knowledge of electronic health record system helpful. Ability to provide care for the patient’s age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being. \n
- Ability to write educational objectives for healthcare employees. \n
