American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/OB position requiring 2+ years of OB experience and an active Michigan RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery/OB unit setting \n
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM \n
- 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour weekly guarantee \n
- Weekend and holiday coverage required \n
- On-call responsibilities required as needed \n
- Delegates to and oversees Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, OB Care Associates, Surgical Service Assistants, Nursing Clerks, and Psychiatric Techs \n

- Active Michigan RN license required at time of consideration \n
- Minimum 2 years of OB nursing experience required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN \n
- AWHONN certification must have been obtained within the last two years \n
- Copies of all certifications required for consideration \n

- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized plans of care \n
- Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders \n
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care plans \n
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment \n
