\nSystem Design & Test Engineer
\nAs a system design & test engineer, you will be responsible for designing hardware to validate board level system functionality and electrical performance of new products.
\nThis position is a great fit for someone who is passionate about designing hardware, and working cross-functionally with teams across (design, firmware, software, operations, etc.).
\nOur organization plays a key role in ensuring the quality standards are exceeded, and making sure that our customers are happy with the performance and experience of the products they use.
\nMembers of this team will lead the design of custom hardware testing fixtures, software (firmware and/or FPGA IP), and instruments that are critical to product integrity.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nTest fixture hardware design and integration with test instruments, implementation of product testing on new products from prototype to mass production
\nWork closely with the system design and diagnostics teams early in the product development
\nlifecycle to learn the system architecture and provide suggested test for functionality and performance
\nBe the technical expert for designing, understanding, presenting, communicating and
\ndebugging, the system testing and testing processes of product
\nAct as a key liaison between our organization and the Contract Manufacturers to ensure that
\nour test station hardware and software is validated and ready for manufacturing testing
\nDocumentation of tests and developing/executing product test plans, specifying test stations
\nand diagnostics for testing product features, and implementing test process control and parametric data collection.

Key Qualifications
\nB.S. EE (or similar) with 3+ years of experience
\nGood understanding analog, digital, and power electronics hardware architectures and design
\nExperience in schematic & PCB layout design using Allegro or a similar CAD tool
\nAbility to design and debug complex electrical schematics and PCB layouts and propose clear, relevant experiments
\nWorking knowledge of USB 3.2, USB-PD, Display Port, PCIe, I2C, SPI technologies and protocols, and design
\nGood oral & written communication skills - be able to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely to various cross functional teams and leadership.
\nNice to have:
\nPrior experience with bed of nails test fixture and designing custom test instruments
\nPrior experience of performing parametric data statistical analysis (CPK, GRR etc.)
\nWillingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up-to 20% of the time; estimated 8-10 days per trip
\nPrior technical leadership and/or project management experience
