The cashier position at TASTE is the “face of TASTE.” Associates interact directly with our guests in all aspects of the store and are expected to consistently deliver legendary service while actively living out TASTE’s mission and core values. This role includes:

• Operating the register and taking guests’ orders accurately, politely, and enthusiastically, while ensuring all transactions are completed correctly

• Assisting guests both in person and over the phone with a strong working knowledge of our menu and catering offerings

• Responding to on-the-fly needs of guests and supporting fellow members of Team TASTE in a collaborative and professional manner

• Working closely with front-of-house and back-of-house team members to ensure orders are prepared and delivered quickly, accurately, and to TASTE standards

• Representing TASTE’s culture by demonstrating integrity, teamwork, hospitality, and accountability in every guest interaction

• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, crouch, twist and turn during all hours of each shift
• Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch while also being able to lift and move up to at least 30 pounds, but occasionally up to 50 or more pounds
• Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel items and product, and to use the register and phone systems; must be able to reach with hands and arms between 6-72 inches
• Must be able to talk and hear from far away and in close proximity
