Pastry Prep Cook

Citizens Grill is looking for a Pastry Prep Cook to join our awesome team! The Baker/Pastry Chef will help be creative in developing the pastry programs, menu, new seasonal desserts and help assist the lead Pastry Chef. Candidate must have ability to produce high volume cakes, pies, pastries, custards, breads and design.  At least a a minimum of 1 year experience is required.

Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role

Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, etc

Understanding of food safety practices.

Have a Food Handlers Certification

Experience with piping techniques for topping cakes, pies and desserts

Excellent time-management skills

Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude

Flexibility to work in early morning shifts

Certification from a culinary school is a plus
