We are recruiting an experienced 2nd Press Operator to join our talented team of high-impact employees on 3rd shift in our Aurora, IL production facility. The 2nd Press Operators assists the Press Operator in running our off-set web presses.
In this position you will:
- Pack and install plates and blankets according to company standards.
- Maintain each print unit, including, but not limited to, installing new rollers and maintaining good ink transfer within acceptable quality guidelines.
- Obtain color to color register.
- Assist the Press Operator with Inline and Inkjet make-ready and operation.
- Run the press when the Press Operator is absent or away from the press.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good math skills.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience with inline finishing.
- At least one year of experience as a Lithographic Web 2nd Pressman.
- Experience producing quality four color process pieces.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hours per shift.
