FORKLIFT DRIVER

Reports To:>Shipping Group Leader.Description:Performs routine duties required to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations as required. Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments and performs other work related activities as required.Responsibilities:Compares identification and counts, weighs and measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.May operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, cranes or other material handling equipment.Receives orders from Production Control and is responsible for filling those orders for shipment.Responsible for meeting established quality and quantity levels of work assigned, housekeeping and safe work practices.Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.>Education:High School Degree, GED or higher.>Experience:Forklift experience.>Skills:N/A>Training Specific to Position:N/A>Other:Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.Good mathematical skillsAbility to lift loads up to forty (40) pounds.This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are exclusive standards of the position.
