This promise is kept by over 600 employees at hth and provides value to our customers.Position overview: The ironworker must have the ability to install pre-engineered metal building perform connecting work, and perform work at above ground elevations. Familiarity with basic hand signals and basic rigging knowledge, Safety knowledge while working at heights is required. Experience with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs, and welding a plus. Position Expectations and Duties:Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others. Shows up on time and ready to complete workFollows directions of manager/ lead/ superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if neededRespects self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clientsTakes care of company owned or rented equipment returning in like manorAdaptable in methods used to complete taskWilling to go the extra mile for the teamMotivated to learn new skills and tradesCommunicate effectively both written and verbalAbility to use assortment of hand tools. Strong math skills in basic math, geometry, and algebra. Skill to operate a variety of machinery. Gather correct tools needed to perform the tasks being completed.
