Deliver outcomes.About the RoleAs a PRN SLP in a skilled nursing setting, you'll provide evaluation and treatment services for residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary care team.SNF Practice HighlightsEvaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and dysphagia-related needsDevelop and implement individualized plans of care focused on safety, function, and quality of lifeConduct swallowing evaluations and recommend appropriate diet modifications and compensatory strategiesCollaborate with nursing, dietary, and therapy teams to support resident care plansProvide education to residents, families, and staff as appropriateCompetency training available - support provided for clinicians new to or growing within the SNF settingWhat We OfferFlexible PRN scheduling - coverage based on facility needs and your availabilitySupportive, collaborative therapy environmentOpportunity to maintain or expand SNF clinical skills(Benefits are not included for PRN positions.)RequirementsCurrent Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standingMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programASHA CCC-SLP preferredOrganized, self-directed, and patient-focusedPassion for working with the geriatric populationSkilled nursing facility experience is preferred, but motivated clinicians with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
