Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Must be based in/around Luling, TXPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first level support for network-related IT tickets and network investigations, while also supporting network upgrades and deployments across multiple locations. This role will be instrumental in supporting the expansion of our network strategy as we grow our infrastructure footprint. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex network issues in enterprise environments and a strong foundation in modern networking technologies and security architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve network issues in large-scale enterprise environmentsManage, configure, and maintain network switches and routing infrastructureConduct network investigations and root cause analysis for incidents and outagesConfigure and manage firewall policies and security controlsDesign and implement virtual network (VNet) architecturesManage routing protocols and optimize network traffic flowSupport cloud networking initiatives and hybrid infrastructureRequired Qualifications3-5 years of hands-on network engineering experienceProven experience troubleshooting networks in enterprise environmentsStrong knowledge of switch management and configurationExperience conducting network investigations and incident responseSolid understanding of firewall technologies and security principlesProficiency with virtual networks (VNets) and routing protocolsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud networking in AWS or AzureHands-on experience with Fortigate firewall solutionsKnowledge of Zscaler Zero Trust architecture and implementationRelevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate)X-Bow is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
