Daemen University is going beyond instrumental needs to foster the development of individuals who are dedicated to the health and well-being of local and global communities.Purpose of RoleFIN 300 Investment Markets (3 credits) This course will present students with real world exposure to investing in 3 major markets; the stock market; the real estate markets, and the franchise market. Students will learn about wise investment strategies by participating in a stock market simulation, developing a real estate investment plan and identifying a franchise opportunity that aligns with their interest and values. Guest speakers from these industries will enhance the instructor's presentation with real world examples and experiences.Three adjuncts will co-teach this course during the semester$1166 per course.Daemen University strongly encourages all campus community members to get vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster vaccine.
