Occupational Therapist

Mozaic (a Chapter of The Arc) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support pediatric patients at Keuka Lake School in Bath, NY.Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess and interpret evaluations and test results to develop individualized occupational therapy plans in collaboration with physicians. You will support pediatric patients in developing or regaining physical and cognitive function, while helping them adapt to disabilities through meaningful programs and activities.You will select therapeutic interventions based on each child's abilities, cognitive level, and interests, with a focus on maximizing independence and daily functioning. Ongoing observation and assessment of progress will guide your recommendations and any necessary adjustments to care plans.In this role, you will maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. You will also promote continuity of care by creating home exercise programs and recommending assistive equipment and follow-up services.A key part of this position includes educating families and the people we serve on therapeutic techniques, activities, and equipment to support progress beyond the school setting.
