Certified Nurse Aide

The Sisters of Mercy of the Americas

Full-time - Three 12 hours shifts (36 hours), per week. Includes every other weekend. Day shift 7am- 7pm. Sign on Bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and ensure comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

  • Assist with daily living activities and monitor health status under supervision.

  • Document patient observations accurately in medical records and care plans.

  • Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe care environment.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance.

  • Support medication reminders and report any adverse reactions to supervisors.

  • Collaborate with nursing team to meet patient care targets and improve outcomes.

  • Engage in ongoing learning to advance skills and pursue professional growth.

  • Utilize performance metrics to track progress and achieve quality care targets.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

  • Assist with care handoffs and ensure continuity of care across shifts.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse Aide license or certification from a recognized program.

  • Provide direct patient care and ensure comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

  • Accurate documentation of patient observations in medical records.

  • Adhere to infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment.
