About the Role:
Exceptional Pediatric Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our growing team in Houston, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by supporting speech-language therapy services in a fun, child-centered environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement speech-language therapy treatment plans as directed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients targeting communication, articulation, language, and fluency goals
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate session notes and data
  • Prepare therapy materials, activities, and resources to support individualized treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with supervising SLPs, families, and caregivers regarding patient progress
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and evaluations under the direction of a licensed SLP
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive therapy environment for pediatric clients
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Texas
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language therapy techniques and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with children
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapy team
