Caregiver Needed – Full-Time | Monday–Sunday | 11:00 AM – 7:00 PMFirstLight Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide exceptional care for a husband and wife in their home. We are looking for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and takes pride in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Schedule

• Monday through Sunday
• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Full-time hours available

About the Clients

You will be caring for a married couple who enjoy remaining active in their home.

Husband:

• Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and diabetes.
• Requires assistance with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, and daily activities.

Wife:

• Diagnosed with lung cancer but remains very active and independent.
• Blind in one eye.
• Loves cooking and enjoys having the caregiver assist her in meal preparation and kitchen activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist both clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist with showers and personal hygiene
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals and assist the wife while she cooks
• Make the bed daily
• Wash, dry, and fold laundry
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized
• Light housekeeping in client living areas
• Provide companionship and encouragement
• Observe and report any changes in the clients' condition

Qualifications

• Experience caring for seniors preferred
• Experience with Parkinson's disease is a plus
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA or related experiences with a loved one of family member
Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language 
Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle and sex offender background checks
Consent to drug and alcohol testing
TB test
