Working within a Primary Provider/Transdisciplinary Model, the SLP partners with families and caregivers to support communication development, social-emotional growth, and participation in everyday routines.Services are delivered primarily in natural environments, including homes, childcare settings, and community locations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide speech-language therapy services to children ages 0-3 in home and community-based settings.Conduct assessments and evaluate speech, language, communication, feeding, and developmental needs as appropriate.Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support developmental outcomes.Utilize evidence-based early intervention practices and coaching strategies.Deliver services using a Primary Provider and Transdisciplinary Team Model.Maintain timely and accurate documentation to meet program, regulatory, and billing requirements.Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.Support family engagement by providing education, resources, and developmental guidance.QualificationsRequiredMaster's Degree in Speech-Language PathologyCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHAActive Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist licenseAbility to travel between locationsKnowledge, Skills, and ExperienceKnowledge of developmental disabilities and early childhood development.Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families.Understanding of developmentally appropriate interventions for the birth-to-three population.Knowledge of family-centered practices and coaching models.Familiarity with transdisciplinary and primary provider approaches.Ability to build collaborative relationships with families and professionals from diverse backgrounds.Familiarity and competence with Colorado's Global Outcomes Process.Please Note: Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are not eligible for this position.Our CultureAt DDRC, our values of Dignity, Dedication, Respect, and Choice guide everything we do.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are empowered to live meaningful lives and achieve their goals.
