Physical Therapy Assistant Home Health PRN

Inspired home is seeking a motivated and compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver quality rehabilitation services to patients in their homes, helping them regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life.Do you enjoy flexibility and working your own hours? Responsibilities:Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and functional abilities.Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including exercises, modalities, and mobility training to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.Monitor patients' progress and report any changes in their condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.Educate patients on safety techniques, and strategies to enhance recovery and independence in daily activities.Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment sessions, and progress notes as required.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.Qualifications:Current state licensure or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.Previous experience in home health care is preferred, but not required.CPR2 step TB testStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
