1st Class Fluxcore Welder

Location: Morgan City, LA

Shift: Day Shift

Position: Full-Time

Seeking experienced 1st Class Flux Core Welders (FCAW) for a busy shipyard performing new vessel construction.

Applicants MUST be fluent in BOTH English and Spanish. This is a required qualification and candidates who are not bilingual will not be considered.

Candidates must also be able to pass a hands-on Flux Core weld test at the shipyard.

• MUST BE FLUENT IN BOTH ENGLISH & SPANISH (REQUIRED)
• 3+ years of FCAW (Flux Core) welding experience
• Shipyard, marine, or heavy industrial welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Ability to pass an onsite Flux Core weld test
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• 1st Class Shipyard Welder experience
• New vessel construction experience
• Multi-position welding experience
