Assembly Operator

Position SummaryThe Assembly Operator is responsible for manually blending product materials and packaging finished goods in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, consistency, and on-time delivery. The Assembly Operator uses hand tools to mix materials to precise standards and prepares finished product for shipment by packaging it into pipe-containing cases according to company specifications. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, physical stamina, and the ability to maintain productivity throughout the shift.Key ResponsibilitiesManually stir, shovel, and blend product materials to achieve proper consistency and uniformityTransfer blended materials into designated containers or pipe assembliesPackage finished product into cases containing pipes in accordance with production standardsPerform repetitive assembly and packaging tasks efficiently while maintaining high qualityInspect raw materials and completed products for defects, contamination, or inconsistenciesFollow all workplace safety policies and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work areaMeet daily production quotas and deadlinesCommunicate equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors promptlyAssist with general production support tasks as assignedRequired QualificationsAbility to perform repetitive manual labor for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50+ poundsComfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environmentBasic knowledge of workplace safety standardsStrong attention to detail and quality controlReliable attendance and punctualityPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in manufacturing, assembly, or packagingExperience using hand tools in a production settingFamiliarity with meeting production quotas or working on a production lineWork EnvironmentThis position operates in an industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to dust, odors, and varying temperatures. PPE is provided and required. Employees will be standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive motions throughout the shift.
