Responsibilities
As a Carpenter, you will contribute to a wide range of residential remodeling activities. Your duties will include:
- Framing walls, floors, and roofs per plan and code
- Drywall patching and minor drywall installation
- Paint touch-ups and final finish corrections
- Completing general punch list items with efficiency and attention to detail
- Installing doors, trim, hardware, and cabinetry
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinating with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to meet project goals
- Ensuring job site cleanliness and safety at all times
- Communicating clearly with team members and clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional framing experience in residential construction
- Solid experience with drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, and general finish carpentry
- Familiarity with standard construction tools and safety practices
- Ability to work from construction drawings and follow scope direction independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing site conditions
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and basic hand tools required
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and client satisfaction
