Aurora Valley Care Skilled Nursing & Rehab (Caldera Care) is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Therapy team! If you have experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab settings, we want to hear from you. Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00 DOESchedule: PRN (as needed / flexible hours) About UsAt Aurora Valley Care, we are dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment that feels like home for both our residents and our staff. Key Responsibilities:Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical TherapistTreat residents with musculoskeletal, neurological, balance, and mobility impairmentsAssist with gait training, transfers, strengthening, and therapeutic exercisesComplete required documentation including progress notes, recertifications, and discharge summariesPerform resident screenings (new admissions and change in condition)Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetingsEnsure compliance with Medicare, OBRA, infection control, and regulatory standardsCommunicate effectively with therapy team, nursing staff, residents and familiesMaintain productivity standards and coordinate scheduling of assigned caseloadSupport staff education and in-services as needed Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programCurrent Washington State PTA license requiredPrevious experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferredKnowledge of Medicare guidelines and therapy documentation requirementsAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environmentBasic computer skills and EMR documentations experience preferredAbility to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical job duties Benefits: Competitive PRN payFlexible schedulingSupportive interdisciplinary team environmentOpportunity to work in skilled nursing and post-acute rehab
