Welding Technician

From family members to team members, to even our pigs we believe in treating others with respect and as part of our family.Job Description:This is a welding & maintenance position is involved in many aspects of maintaining our penning systems, feed systems, water systems, ventilations system and concrete slat flooring in good repair.Position will require welding repairs to penning systems, repairs to feed systems, repairs/replacement of ventilation curtain systems, repairs to concrete slats Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Stick or MIG welding to penning components, feeders, etc Repairs of feed systems, including feeders, feedlines and feed binsCurtain machine repair/replacementRepair/Replacement to concrete slat flooring.Repairs/Replacement of water system componentsRequirements:Welding skills - primarily stick & MIG with some TIG Ability to safely operate power tools, including saws, drills, grinders, etcMust be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.Continuous walking and standing; a minimum of 8 hours per day.Frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments in a timely manner.Comply with all bio-security, safety, and animal welfare policies.
