HOP - Production Welder

Job Summary: To produce a quality product in a safe and efficient manner. Required Qualifications:Weld certificationCritical Success Factors:Excellent attendance Ability to interact with Management Team in a professional manner to continually enhance the company's performanceAbility to work independently without supervision and with minimum directionsSuccessful completion of Martinrea International's Orientation Program Responsibilities:Perform weld inspection of parts and distinguish a good weld from a defective weldPerform manual weld rework as neededSolve automation problems as they arise (i.e. weld tip changes, panel resets) Follow work instructions and verbal directions to meet targeted production quotas Ensure that only quality parts are passed onto the next operation, notify supervisor of quality related problems immediatelyComplete all necessary documentation (production reports, quality alerts etc.) correctly and in a timely manner.
