Speech Language Pathologist

The Savannah R3 School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with communication disorders. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, helping them achieve academic and social success.  This open position is for the 2026-27 school year.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students with suspected communication disordersDevelop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulationsProvide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to studentsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progressMaintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and evaluation reportsParticipate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional developmentMonitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEnsure compliance with IDEA, state guidelines, and district policiesQualificationsMaster's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programValid Missouri license in Speech-Language PathologyCertification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)Eligible for or holding Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certificationStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsExperience in a school setting preferred, but not requiredWorking ConditionsSchool-based environment serving students from diverse backgrounds and needsAbility to travel between buildings within the district (if applicable)Salary and BenefitsCompetitive salary based on education and experienceComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insuranceParticipation in Missouri Public School Retirement System (PSRS)Professional development opportunitiesSavannah R3 is an equal opportunity employer.
