(Paid weekly)Travel Benefits NoticeThis position may require travel. Company-paid lodging and per diem are provided only when employees are assigned to work outside the designated local radius from our office. Candidates who choose to live outside the local area are expected to provide their own housing and transportation for projects located within the local work radius.Position SummaryThe Commercial Carpenter is responsible for independently performing skilled installation of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceiling (ACT) systems on commercial job sites. This role requires strong knowledge of construction methods, the ability to read plans, and consistent delivery of high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceiling systems per plans and specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project documentsPerform layout, measure, cut, and install materials with precisionMaintain production pace while ensuring quality workmanshipFollow all jobsite safety standards and company policiesWork collaboratively with foremen, project managers, and other tradesIdentify and communicate potential issues before they impact productionMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environmentLead, manage, and develop field crews on commercial job sitesPlan daily and weekly work to meet project schedules and production goalsRead and interpret blueprints to direct layout and installationEnsure all work meets company quality standards and specificationsEnforce safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite environmentCoordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and other tradesTrack labor productivity and adjust crews as neededIdentify and resolve jobsite challenges proactivelyTrain and mentor journeyman and apprentice-level team membersQualifications2+ years of interior and exterior metal stud framing2+ years in a leadership or foreman role preferredStrong experience with metal stud framing, drywall systems, and ACTAbility to read plans and manage layout independentlyProven ability to lead crews and manage production schedulesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsReliable transportation and ability to travel as requiredEmployment contingent upon passing Drug Test, Physical, and E-Verify
