LPN Pediatric Clinic

The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing and care supports providers in delivering safe, efficient, patient-centered care throughout the lifespan, from infants and children to adults and older adults. Key responsibilities include obtaining and documenting vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, administering medications, injections, and immunizations, performing point-of-care testing, assisting with treatments and procedures, providing patient and caregiver education, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The LPN is expected to demonstrate competency in age-appropriate care, maintain patient safety and confidentiality, communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and staff, and follow established clinical policies and nursing standards. The position requires dependability, professionalism, attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to manage a high-volume outpatient environment while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages.
