MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and our local client are NOW HIRING an experienced 3rd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Operator in the Park 100 area of Indianapolis!

Position: Stand-Up Forklift Operator
Shift: Sunday–Thursday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Overtime may be required)
Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Park 100 – Indianapolis, IN

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and a safe work environment.

Candidates should have experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

Safely operate stand-up forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
Move materials between storage locations, staging areas, production, and shipping docks.
Follow all forklift operating procedures (SOPs) for assigned warehouse areas.
Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Load, unload, transport, and store materials accurately and efficiently.
Inspect loads for accuracy and safely transport products throughout the facility.
Wrap, label, and stage materials for storage or shipment.
Operate automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or related equipment as needed.
Perform basic equipment maintenance, including cleaning and battery charging.
Record production data and material weights when required.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks (required).
Previous warehouse experience required.
Forklift certification required.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must successfully complete all required forklift training and operational evaluations.

Physical Requirements

Lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
Perform visual inspections and quality checks.
Work in an industrial warehouse environment with seasonal temperature changes.

Work Environment

This position is located in a food manufacturing facility. Employees must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including:

No jewelry
No nail polish or artificial nails
Long pants without holes or tears
Lab coats and required protective equipment must be worn

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Required PPE may include:

Safety glasses
Safety shoes
Additional protective equipment as required by the work area
