About the Role:

As a Per Diem/PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Excelsior Springs, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents, providing individualized speech therapy services to help them achieve their goals. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, conducting evaluations and assessments to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech therapy evaluations and assessments to identify areas of need and develop treatment plans

• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy programs to help residents achieve their goals

• Provide speech therapy services to residents, including individual and group sessions

• Collaborate with other members of the care team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss resident care and treatment plans

• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MA or MS SLP)

• Current certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP)

• State licensure in speech-language pathology (if applicable)
