Position: Forklift Operator
Pay: $17.00/hour
Shifts: 5:00am – 5:00pm and 5:00pm – 5:00am (rotating calendar)
Benefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, Vision

The Lee Group is hiring Forklift Operators for a manufacturing facility in Suffolk, VA. These are full-time, temp-to-hire opportunities ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, are safety-minded, and want to grow within a stable company.

Job Responsibilities of Forklift Operators:
• Keep sanitation areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces in the pit area to prevent contamination
• Dispose of waste materials properly following safety procedures
• Assist with operating machinery during coffee production
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies using forklifts and pallet jacks
• Load and unload trucks with attention to inventory accuracy
• Label and store materials according to inventory procedures

Job Qualifications of Forklift Operators:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to assist with routine equipment maintenance
• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail
• Physical ability to lift 50–70 lbs and perform manual labor
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Pre-Employment Requirements:
Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
