WelderPrimary Purpose:We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team! The Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components for production and facility operation.Job Description:First Shift schedule is 5:30am - 4:00pm Monday through ThursdayPrepares welding equipment for operation by making equipment setup adjustments; assisting with equipment changeovers.Fabricate new or replacement parts for production and assemble component parts using hand and small power tools.Maintains quality standards and customer specifications by conducting first-piece and in-process inspection and making equipment adjustments.Ensures accurate machine operation by making equipment adjustments; referring questions to the supervisor.Maintains production operations by following policies and procedures.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.Other responsibilities to be assigned.Qualifications:Must be willing to work overtime when needed2+ years previous experience as a Welder - preferred, not requiredExperience working with steel materialsBlueprint reading (a plus, but not required)Strong math skills (a plus, but not required) Forklift experience (a plus, but not required)Education/Certification:High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
