Occupational Therapist Assistant

Inspired home care is looking for a dedicated Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide quality care and support to patients in their homes, helping them enhance their daily living skills and overall quality of life.Do you enjoy flexibility and working your own hours? Come work with us!Key Responsibilities:Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and independence.Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive techniques to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.Educate patients on strategies to promote safety, independence, and engagement in daily activities.Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment sessions, and progress notes as required.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.Qualifications:Current state licensure or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.Previous experience in home health care is preferred, but not required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently.Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
