Material Handler

Are you an experienced Material Handler with sit-down forklift experience looking for a full-time opportunity? Penmac Staffing is recruiting for a temp-to-hire Material Handler position with a manufacturing client. • Sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a 10-hour shift
• Ability to work mandatory overtime when needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety

ResponsibilitiesAs a Material Handler, you will play an important role in keeping materials moving throughout the facility. Daily duties may include:

• Reading work orders and following verbal instructions to determine material handling needs
• Loading and unloading materials from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
• Transporting materials from storage locations to designated work areas
• Operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Counting, weighing, and recording materials moved or handled on weekly inventory cut sheets
• Maintaining organized work areas and following safety procedures
• Performing other duties as assigned

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay

• $19.50 per hour
