Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a qualified Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a position in a facility located in Burlington, Wisconsin. This role involves working in a busy acute care setting with responsibilities that include performing CT and X-ray imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both modalities, able to work independently during evening shifts, and comfortable handling a variety of patient cases such as strokes, traumas, abdominal scans, and COVID-related imaging.
Job Details:

- Schedule: Evenings, 12-hour shifts
- Hours per Week: Minimum of 36 hours
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS
- Education: Relevant technical degree or certification in radiologic technology
- Licenses: Wisconsin licensure required
- Experience: 3+ years in acute care setting, with proficiency in CT and X-ray imaging, including fluoroscopy and general X-ray techniques
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GE or Toshiba CT scanners, CTA, trauma/stroke imaging, power injection, IV skills, and PAPR equipment
- Responsibilities:
- Interchanging between CT and X-ray procedures as needed
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during imaging
- Working independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Charting and documentation using EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
- Adhering to PPE protocols, including the use of N95 masks and PAPR when necessary
- Supporting patient ratios of 1:1 in inpatient or emergency department settings
- Participating in orientation and ongoing training as scheduled
- Maintaining flexibility to work seven days a week and participate in weekend rotations based on departmental needs
- Responding within 30 minutes for on-call requirements
- Observing holiday expectations, with one holiday per contract period
- Support and Equipment:
- Support from Imaging supervisors and the Director of Imaging and Cardiovascular Service Line
- Use of Fuji or Cannon X-ray equipment, GE and Toshiba CT scanners, and Fuji portable X-ray machines
- Support on the unit, including fluoroscopy, OR procedures, and vascular imaging
- Additional Notes:
- Scrub color: Any, no camouflage, denim, or hoodies
- Parking: Free in designated areas
- COVID precautions: Adequate PPE, N95 masks, PAPR available
