Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a TX PT license (pending accepted) for a day-shift assignment in an outpatient clinic setting.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting focused on orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric rehabilitation
- Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 13-week contract length
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- BLS certification required
- TX PT license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Outpatient orthopedic and neurologic treatment experience preferred
- Skilled in modalities such as E-stim, ultrasound, traction, and moist heat
- Experience with home exercise programs and patient/family education
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning for outpatient orthopedic and neurologic patients
- Utilizes adaptive and assistive devices, gait training, and manual therapy techniques
- Onboarding includes 2-3 hours of non-billable orientation modules completed onsite
- First-time travelers will be considered pending interview
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All RTO must be listed at time of submission, with no more than 3 days auto-approved and none during the first week of orientation
