Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT(R)(CT) certification to perform CT and X-Ray procedures on night shift.
Details
- Setting includes Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Emergency Department
- Will perform both CT and X-Ray procedures
- 13-week assignment
- 5x8 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Friday
- First week is day shift for orientation to CT and X-Ray
- No call requirements
- Rotational holiday coverage required alongside existing staff
- Meditech charting system preferred
- Travelers expected to float within the hospital as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
- ARRT(R)(CT) certification required - license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
- Skilled in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT procedures
- Proficiency in CT arthrography and vascular CTA preferred
- Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration
- Proficient in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
- Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols
Additional Information
- Perform CT and X-Ray imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
- Utilizes GE CT equipment and PACS system
- Candidates must complete required labs within 48-72 hours of contract signing
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- No mileage restriction for eligibility
- Previous staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months and in good standing to be eligible for return
