Job Summary:
The Dalles, Oregon A radiologic technologist specializing in computed tomography (CT) will operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The role includes performing other imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy within a healthcare facility serving the Columbia River Gorge community. This position is represented by the Office of Federal Nursing and Healthcare Personnel (OFNHP).

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CT (ARRT-CT) or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) R (ARRT), required. Advanced Certification in CT in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, required. Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment, preferred in California and Oregon. Venipuncture certification, preferred in California and Oregon.
  • Essential Functions: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images. Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines. Performs routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manages supply inventory. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Facility Specific Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.
