Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This role involves providing computed tomography (CT) imaging services in a fast-paced, stand-alone emergency department setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing routine CT and diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
- Schedule: Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT Radiologic Technology (Rad Tech) Certification, South Carolina Rad Tech license (SCQRSA), CT certification preferred, CT experience / knowledge required, BLS certification, 3 years of experience
- Type of Staff: One CT Technologist per shift, with an estimated 10-20 CT/radiology exams per shift
- Equipment: GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, GE portable x-ray systems
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Call Requirements: Two call shifts per month
- Procedures Performed: Routine CT scans and diagnostic X-ray procedures in a small, free-standing emergency department setting
- Additional Preferences: Proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiology, ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, and capable of working independently
- Dress Code: Scrubs in charcoal grey
