Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient setting requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and current TX PT license (license required if applicable).
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Epic charting system used
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- TX PT license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
- Epic charting experience required
- Outpatient experience required
- Experience with orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patient populations preferred
- Knowledge of modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and moist heat preferred
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across outpatient orthopedic and neurologic caseloads
- Utilizes therapeutic modalities including cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, and ultrasound
- Performs home exercise program development and patient/family education
- Open to first-time travelers, though an interview is required before an offer is extended
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
- RTO limited to 3 days auto-approved; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
- Not available to candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
