Minimum Requirements – CT Technologist
Required Certifications
ARRT (R)
ARRT (CT)
BLS (AHA)
Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
Acute care/hospital experience preferred
Experience with trauma, ER, inpatient, and outpatient imaging is commonly required
Core Skills
CT Head, Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis
Contrast administration
IV starts (if required by facility)
CTA studies
Radiation safety and patient positioning
PACS and EMR documentation
Licensure
Active state license
Equipment Experience
Experience with at least one major scanner:
Siemens
GE
Philips
Canon/Toshiba
